Ski resort Golte – skiing and snowboarding in the heart of nature
The Golte ski resort is located at an altitude between 1,250 and 1,600 meters above sea level. You can experience the joys of snow on as many as 50 hectares of varied and beautiful nature, which stretches out on the Golte plateau. You can ski on more than 12 kilometers of groomed ski tracks. Regardless of how good a skier you are, the Golte plateau is a great location for skiing. The tracks are suitable for beginners as well as true skiing masters. There are tracks of different levels of difficulty available to you – 4.4 km of easy blue tracks, 7.4 slightly more challenging red tracks and just under a kilometer of track for the most demanding skiers.
Safe and comfortable skiing is ensured by a qualified technical team, which arranges and maintains the slopes appropriately. In addition to the natural snow cover, in order to achieve the reputation of a perfect ski resort, technical snow is also added. As many as seven different devices allow you to flawlessly climb to the top of various tracks – in addition to the pendulum, there are also 3 chairlifts, 2 drag lifts and a polygon with a conveyor belt, which is suitable for children and beginners. Snowboarders will definitely enjoy the snow as well. The variety of nature and terrain in Golte is a real paradise for ski touring.
Great location for families
Thanks to the different difficulty levels of the tracks, Golte enables skiing for the whole family. The playground with a conveyor belt, where children can also go sledding, will delight the youngest. It’s a special training ground located next to the Morava ski track, which is easily accessible from the Alpine Garden. The separation of the polygon ensures safe fun for your little ones. There is also a children’s playground next to the hotel, which turns into a real professional toboggan run in the afternoon. The lighting of the track in the early evening ensures that your child will feel like a real sledding champion. Parents do not have to pay anything for sledding, sleds and zibobs are also free to rent.
Anyone who would like to learn how to ski must visit the Beli Zajec ski school. It offers group and individual skiing lessons for children and adults. You can rent professional ski equipment from them and start the quest of becoming a top skier. Visit the Medvedjak restaurant, where you can enjoy good food, and then slide down the white slopes with your ski instructor.
Ski resort Golte – opening hours
Golta allows skiing during the winter season, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon. During this time, the chairlifts and cable cars operate. Pendulum Žibert is open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., which guarantees a timely arrival and departure from the ski area.
The operation of the devices that enable skiing may vary during the season. In order to ensure the safety of visitors, their operation is adapted to the weather and snow conditions. Therefore, before going to the white slopes, check the operating hours of the devices or inquire about them at the ski resort.
Ski resort Golte – ski passes
Golte ski passes are available at the lower station of the cable car and at ticket office 1410 on the terrace of the hotel. You can pay by cash or debit/credit card. You can also buy a limited amount of tickets for the Morava lift and the Medvedjak and Smrekovec chairlifts with cash at the lower stations of the individual cable cars. However, more and more people are choosing to buy tickets online.
